Come Dive with Mar Scuba

We specialize in scuba diving tours to the Izu Penninsula, as well as destinations across Japan and worldwide. Dive sites are chosen to meet the needs of the divers in each group, and we offer personalized training for those who are looking to expand their scuba skills.

English speaking dive guides provide individualized, personal service in a non competitive and relaxed atmosphere. Our schedules are flexible, so if you want to dive and don't see your date or site on the site, please contact us to make a request! For safety and service, we usually allow no more than 6 divers per dive guide.

Diving near Tokyo   MORE >

The best diving near Tokyo and surrounding areas (Kanagawa, Saitama) is on the Izu Penninsula, about 100 kilometers away from Tokyo. The most popular dive site with easy access is Atami, a 45 minute bullet train ride from Tokyo station. On the west side of Izu, Osezaki has dependable conditions even with approaching typhoons. Furthest south on the peninsula, Mikomoto offers diving for qualified advanced expert divers. In Izu, we visit a variety dive sites for every skill level.

Diving in Japan

There is a diversity of scuba diving around the country. In the south, Okinawa and the Ryukyus are best known for their tropical waters, diverse coral and marine life, and beach resort atmosphere. On the Sea of Japan, dive destinations such as Sado Island can supply the diver with a close up view of sheephead and other fish that are not common in other parts of the world. Up north in Hokkaido during winter, ice diving provides a glimpse into a completely different environment.

Diving around the World   MORE >

We also have dive tours to destinations around the world. For example, just a few hour plane ride away from Japan, in Micronesia, Guam, Saipan, and Rota offer some of the best diving in the world.

For those who want to be spoiled and dive as much as possible, we offer trips on the Aggressor Fleet and Mike Ball liveaboards. The diver will feel like royalty with the VIP pampering and service. We also have an annual trip on the liveaboard MV Viking of the Orient every year during the Golden Week Period departing from Phuket, Thailand, to the best dive sites of the Andaman Sea.
