Basic Information for Izu Ocean Dives

Price and Reservations

Bookings are confirmed upon full payment. Reservations are required for all dive tours. Please contact us early to avoid disappointment.

Prices for Izu fun dives (Mikomoto excluded) are as follows; course prices are provided on the individual course page. Prices include Japanese consumption tax.

  • 1 day, 2 boat dives: JPY 18,900
  • 1 day, 2 shore dives: JPY 14,700
  • Additional boat dive: JPY 9,450
  • Additional shore dive: JPY 7,350

Prices include tanks, weights, ocean entry fees, facilities usage fees, English speaking dive guide (Divemaster or Instructor) and hot bento box lunch (meat or seafood, sorry no vegetarian options available). Pickup at station, transfers to dive site. Pickup/dropoff point for East Izu locations is Atami station on the same day, or the evening before at Mishima station for West Izu locations.

Nitrox is available for JPY 1,470 extra per tank, includes use of Oxycheq Expedition oxygen analyzer, reservation required at least 1 week prior to dive tour.

Meeting Place and Time

We meet at the McDonalds directly across the street from the Atami Station ticket gates at 8:30 am.

  • Bullet Train "Kodama 563" (most popular)
    Tokyo 7:23 > Shinagawa 7:30 > Shin-Yokohama 7:45 > Odawara 8:08 > Atami 8:18

  • Bullet Train "Kodama 565"
    Tokyo 7:56 > Shinagawa 8:04 > Shin-Yokohama 8:16 > Odawara 8:37 > Atami 8:47

Fare: Tokyo-Atami with bullet train surcharge 3,570 yen unreserved seat, (4,080 yen reserved seat), Peak Surcharge: 200 yen extra during peak periods (summertime)

Note: Only the Kodama trains stop at Atami. Nozomi and Hikari trains do not stop at Atami.
