Additional PADI Specialty Courses Offered

Our most popular PADI Specialty Courses are offered at least once a year:

DrySuit Diver, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Underwater Photography, and Enriched Air (Nitrox) Certification.

However, we do offer all of the following Specialty Courses on a request basis. If you are interested in taking any of our Specialty Courses, please contact us to have it added to our schedule.

Deep Diver

In this course, you will learn the planning, organization, procedures, techniques, and hazards for deep diving. Special equipment requirements will be discussed during the course. Training dives will range from 18-30 meters (60-100 feet). The Deep Diver course is normally conducted in Atami, diving some deep sites that go as deep as 45 meters. All training dives will be conducted within 30 meters. Dive computer, safety sausage (surface marker buoy), underwater light, and other equipment may be required.

Course Price:    16,800 yen, includes Deep Pak (manual, video, log insert)
Time Required:  4 Open Water Dives over 2 days (one weekend)
Prerequisite:     Adventure Diver or Advanced Open Water

Equipment Specialist

Learn how to maintain and take care of your personal dive equipment. This course covers the theory, principles of operation, recommended routine maintenance, common problems with gear, and suggestions for comfortable equipment configurations. This is not a manufacturer repair (overhaul) course. The advice and explanations will be tailored to focus on the type of gear the student has or is interested in.

Underwater Naturalist or AWARE Fish ID

Learn how to identify the underwater life you encounter while diving.

Course Price:    5,250 yen; Fish Identification book is available for additional 4,200 yen
Time Required:  2 Open Water Dives
Prerequisite:     Open Water

Wreck Diver

Learn how to avoid hazards of shipwreck diving while maximizing enjoyment of the dives.

Course Price:    14,700 yen includes Wreck Diver Manual, DVD rental, certification card

Prerequisite:     Adventure Diver or Advanced Open Water

Underwater Navigator

Master the challenge of underwater navigation and learn how to use the tools such as the compass and Nav-Finder to perfect skills. Navigation patterns with natural clues and compass, distance estimation, and irregular course with Nav-Finder will be covered.

Multilevel Diver

Learn how to use the Wheel version of the Recreational Dive Planner as well as the fundamentals of dive computers. Extend your bottom time with multilevel dive planning.
