Frequently Asked Questions - FAQ

Question 1: Will they make an underwater housing for the (insert camera manufacturer and model here)?
Answer 1: Please check the database on the Digideep web site. The information in these pages is the most up to date and current as the revision date shown. Olympus has not signalled their intent to make other housings based upon different camera form factors. From what I have seen, they have concentrated on making housings for the most popular cameras in order to maximize the useage of the custom mold required for each housing.
Question 2: Where can I buy the Olympus PT-010, PT-015 or (insert housing model here)?
Answer 2: The Olympus housings only come from Japan. Olympus Europe sold some older model housings in the U.K., but they are not offering any more housings for the European market. If you would like to obtain these housings, please see the Sales page.
Question 3: Why does your web page design suck? (Actually, I asked this question myself a long time ago)
Answer 3: Thanks for the compliments! Finally in 2003, I have updated the web site layout hopefully making it easier to use.
Question 4: Do all housings offer full use of all controls?
Answer 4: No. For example, with the Olympus housings, you can use every button on the camera, but with some other camera housings, you can't use all controls. You'll need to check carefully with each manufacturer and check each model to see if all controls are useable.

Digital Camera Review Sites

Imaging Resource Better than most manufacturers' web sites, you could even use the reviews as a mini manual since they cover almost all the features of the camera such as pictures of each button on the camera back and explanation of each function it controls. Lots of great info.
